The Infatuation App Reviews

This app is perfect for everyone who has gotten a little fed up with the whine-filled rants of the Yelp community surrounding most of the restaurants in the nation. It is a great substitute and I have found myself checking this app every time I am deciding on a new place to eat!

When it comes to actually finding recommendations, its always tough because sifting through hundreds of user reviews isnt always the most accurate way to judge an establishment--I dont trust everyones opinions. Infatuation does a wonderful job curating restaurants with professional reviews. Its like asking a friend who actually knows what theyre talking about. However, the app itself is still lacking from a usability standpoint. When reading up on a restaurant, its really tricky to figure out how to actually navigate to said restaurant--the maps feature in the app only applies to finding nearby restaurants, but not actually specifying where a restaurant would be once youve already found one within the app. On top of this, there is no way to copy the restaurant address-- which is necessary for texting it to friends or searching it in a 3rd party app like Google Maps. Usability aside, this app is a must have for exploring the culinary and bar scene.

I LOVE this App! In the dozen or so recommendations so far, none have steered me wrong. Its particularly great for those times you need to find a place - a GOOD place to meet someone for dinner at convenient spot but dont want to compromise on restaurant experience. The plate suggestions noted within the reviews have always been spot on. And the app just steered me to great place, while out-of-town, I never would have known about. The day I had my reservation, the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star. This app has broadened my repertoire of restaurants and I tell everyone to download it.

Yelp is great but sometimes its necessary to hear from the pros. These folks know what theyre talking about. Love the writers, the recommendations and the intersect!

Ive followed The Infatuation on Instagram for some time, and I very much like their reviews. However, this app lacks some basic functionality like searching/filtering on types of restaurants or kinds of food.

Great restaurants! I havent been disappointed yet!

I dont write app reviews, because we all only have so many minutes left to live. BUT: The Infatuation is next-level amazing, and my heart will be broken if it ever disappears. Ive found 5 new favorite restaurants on it in just a month (in both New York and San Francisco!) and Ive barely scratched the surface of available content. Blows every other restaurant review portal completely out of the water.

You cannot look up your city. The option is 7 cities and none are in the state I live. How silly

I have consistently found the best hidden gems with this app. The reviews are critic quality instead of Yelp quality. Very good! Hopefully more and more restaurants will be reviewed soon!

In a city like Los Angeles an app like Yelp has too many choices even with filters. I needed a curated list and Infatuation has the reviews and filter options I liked. My only wish is it had more cities to use when traveling.

With an upcoming trip to NYC I downloaded the app and Ive been tremendously pleased with it. I especially like being able to tap the map function for each location and instantly see where the restaurants are located. Ill offer a review of the new restaurants I explore based on the reviews Ive read but the reviews seem to be on point, of the restaurants Ive previously dined at. I really enjoy the app.

The reviews are spot on, funny and true! Its my go-to, even in the areas I frequent I keep finding new gems!
